Goal

The goal was to develop a weight control app that supports both weight loss and weight gain by offering personalized diet tracking, tailored fitness routines, and progress insights. Through an integrated approach, the app aims to help users reach their target weight more efficiently and sustainably.

User Persona

A busy mother of two who gained weight after childbirth and now struggles to maintain weight loss due to emotional eating triggered by work-related stress. Despite multiple attempts, sustaining progress remains a constant challenge

Our Interveiw Process

In this project, I conducted interviews with five women to gather insights on weight control. Three had tried various diet programs without long-term success, one focused on maintaining overall health rather than losing weight, and one, a personal trainer, shared her early weight-loss journey—emphasizing that healthy eating and regular workouts are key to effective weight management.

Sketch Wireframes

In this case study, I created wireframes to establish the core layout and user flow for a weight control app, featuring diet tracking, fitness planning, and goal setting.

Low-fidelity

Based on our initial sketches, I used Figma to create a digital low-fidelity wireframe to present the app’s core structure and layout.

Prototype for Low-fidelity

Next Step

The next step for this project is to develop mid- and high-fidelity prototypes to complete the app's visual design. We will also conduct A/B testing to determine which layout offers a more user-friendly experience.
